Amy Wood Podiatry Services is located within the Willow Tree Clinic on Spencer Parade in Northampton. Amy has been established in private practice since 2007, recently moving to her new practice in town centre in 2012.

 

Amy qualified from the Northampton School of Podiatry after completing an honours degree in Podiatry. Following graduation Amy worked for Schools and Shuropody for 2 years, then going to set up full time in her own private practice. Amy is a fuly registered member with the Health Care Professions Council and a member of the society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Being fully registered means the receipts for all treatment can be given for private medical insurance claims.

 

At Amy Wood Podiatry Services, a wide range of foot conditions are treated:

 

• Basic Toenail Cutting

• Corns and Callus Removal

• Advice and treatment of Verrucae

• Thick, Crumbling Toenails ( often caused by a fungal infection)

• Various Skin Complaints

• Diabetic Assessments and Check-ups ( these can be forwarded to GPs)

• General Foot Health Checks

• Biomechanical Assessments

 

 

 

The Podiatry Clinic is open five days a week.

Monday and Friday 9am- 6pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 3pm
