Rehabilitation and Remobilisation

The effects of rehabilitation and remobilisation vary from tissue to tissue. In general we aim to rehabilitate through movement therapy and physical therapy. The principles are to regain normal mobility (range of movement) of the joints; stretch connective tissue fibers of the tendons and musles to an optimal length; increase the strength and endurance of the muscles; increase the strength of the muscle and tendon attachments; improve coordination and proprioception.
