Frozen Shoulder

Frozen Shoulder is a common condition that affects movement in the shoulder. It causes stiffness and pain which reduces normal movement. In some cases, it can prevent movement in the shoulder totally. Usually, it is only the one shoulder that is affected, however in one in five cases it can spread to the other shoulder.

Most cases are found in people between the ages of 40 and 60, and is more common in women than in men. Frozen Shoulder is also more common among people who have diabetes or heart disease.
